Oborevwori Celebrates Obi of Owa, Efeizomor II, on 88th Birthday



The Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Obi of Owa Kingdom, Emmanuel Efeizomor II, as the revered monarch celebrates his 88th birth anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor described the monarch as one of the most respected and accomplished traditional rulers in the state.
Governor Oborevwori said the royal father has made remarkable contributions to the growth and development of Owa Kingdom and the state through his wisdom, commitment and exemplary leadership over the years.
He commended Obi Efeizomor II for preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Owa people, noting that the monarch has remained a father figure and a source of inspiration to many within and outside the kingdom.
The governor also acknowledged the transformation witnessed in Owa Kingdom during the monarch’s reign, particularly in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development, which he said has strengthened the socio-economic progress of the community.
Oborevwori further praised the monarch for his service as the immediate past Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers, describing his tenure as one marked by wisdom, humility and dedication to peace and unity among traditional institutions across the state.
On behalf of his family, the government and people of Delta State, the governor wished the monarch many more years of good health, strength and wisdom as he continues to serve Owa Kingdom, Delta State and humanity.
