Ambassador Egedi Kingsley (JP), popularly known as Don Kilash, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Security Matters and also the State Coordinator of the Mimikay Political Movement, has expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for his administration’s sustained commitment to infrastructural development and improved living conditions for Deltans across the state.
Speaking from his home community of Afiesere, Ambassador Egedi said he is particularly excited by the Governor’s remarkable attention to road infrastructure, noting that the impact of the administration’s development agenda is becoming increasingly visible across communities.
He specifically commended the recent approval of the Imuniame Road, Olori Road and Robert Allon Road, alongside other road projects already completed, including Oghenevweta Road, describing the developments as evidence of a government that listens to the yearnings of its people and responds with action.
According to him, the Governor’s approval for the reconstruction of Afiesere, Oveto, Uduophori and Oviri-Ogor Roads is a source of tremendous joy and renewed confidence, particularly to residents and commuters who have long desired improved road connectivity in these communities.
For Ambassador Egedi, these approvals go beyond the construction of asphalt and drainage systems; they represent connectivity, economic opportunity, accessibility, security and a better quality of life for the people.
He noted that good roads are critical to the movement of people, agricultural produce, businesses and services, and therefore deserve the kind of attention the Oborevwori administration is presently giving them.
He described Governor Oborevwori as “the Ukodo of the Universe”, praising his workaholic disposition, humility, consistency and commitment to delivering democratic dividends to the people of Delta State.
“As a son of Afiesere and a stakeholder in Ughelli North, I am genuinely excited by what I am seeing. When a government approves projects that directly affect the lives of ordinary people in our communities, it deserves commendation. The reconstruction of Afiesere, Oveto, Uduophori and Oviri-Ogor Roads is not merely a government announcement; it is a development that our people will feel and experience directly.”
Ambassador Egedi further expressed his appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for making infrastructural development a major component of his administration’s agenda, stressing that the Governor’s performance has continued to strengthen the confidence of the people in his leadership.
He prayed for God’s continued wisdom, strength, protection, good health and divine guidance upon Governor Oborevwori, his family and members of his administration, so that the Governor can continue to deliver more impactful projects and programmes across Delta State.

A CALL FOR CONTINUITY
Ambassador Egedi therefore admonished Deltans to come out en masse during the forthcoming elections to support and vote for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other candidates committed to the continued development and progress of the state.
He equally urged Deltans to support the APC candidates across the state, including the candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, Senator Joel-Onowakpo for Delta South Senatorial District, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for Delta North Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, representing the people of Ughelli North, South and Udu federal Constituency and other candidates such as Hon Matthew Omonade for Ughelli North Constituency 1, Chief Joseph Okoro, representing the people of Ughelli North Constituency 2, Hon Festus Eseoghene Utuama for Ughelli South Constituency 1, Dr. Ricardo Oguma, For Ughelli South Constituency 2, Hon Julius Pondi for Bomadi federal Constituency amongst others, with the ultimate objective of securing victory for the party.
According to him, political support should be anchored on performance, capacity, accessibility and the ability to deliver tangible development, rather than mere rhetoric.
