Delta Governor Empowered Over 300,000 Youths — Citizens Hail Oborevwori’s Job Creation Drive

Residents across Delta State have lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his sustained youth empowerment and job creation initiatives, which have so far benefitted over 300,000 young people across the state.

Speaking during an interactive session with youths in Asaba on Tuesday, community leaders and beneficiaries praised the governor for delivering on his promise to tackle unemployment and promote inclusive growth under his MORE Agenda.

Governor Oborevwori, who has consistently emphasized his vision of ensuring that “no youth remains jobless in Delta State by 2031,” reiterated his administration’s commitment to continuous empowerment through skills training, entrepreneurship grants, and public-private job partnerships.

The governor hinted that another phase of massive empowerment and job creation programmes will commence in the coming weeks, targeting thousands of additional beneficiaries across the 25 local government areas.

Residents described him as “the Empowerment Governor,” noting that his administration has backed words with verifiable actions through visible projects and opportunities for youths.

"We are not disappointed in Governor Oborevwori,” one youth leader said. “He is performing and empowering people we can see.”

Photos and videos from recent empowerment events across the state have continued to flood social media as evidence of the administration’s achievements.
