Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to meaningful development, youth engagement, and improved security in Warri.
Speaking at a gathering in the oil city, the Governor, fondly described as a “typical Warri boy full of ideas, energy, drive and confidence,” underscored his deep ties to the community.
“If you grew up here and forget this town, you can’t be my friend,” he declared to loud cheers from the crowd. “They know me, I know them. Abi nor be so?” he asked, as the audience responded enthusiastically.
Oborevwori emphasized that he would not tolerate violence and urged youths to continue partnering with his administration for the progress of the city. “I want to assure the youths again that we will continue to work together. I thank you for the love you have shown Warri,” he said.
Reiterating his “MORE Agenda,” the Governor pledged meaningful development, expanded opportunities, realistic refunds, enhanced security, and adherence to rules. “I told Deltans that I will listen more, and I have listened to you,” he added.
