Delta State Government Explores Energy and Agro-Allied Partnerships with JAMPUR Group

Delta State Governor today hosted the management team of JAMPUR Group, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mohammad Shafiq, at the Government House, Asaba, to discuss potential investment opportunities in the energy and agro-allied sectors.

With the Federal Government’s unbundling of the power sector and the enactment of the state’s power sector law, Governor noted that a robust regulatory framework is now in place to guarantee investor protection.

According to him, the state government is keen on exploring collaborations with JAMPUR Group in key areas, including power generation, smart meter production, a fertiliser blending plant, and a solar panel manufacturing plant.

He further disclosed that the State’s Economic Management Team (EMT) has been directed to engage with JAMPUR Group on due diligence, financing options, and projected outcomes, citing the Group’s strong track record in providing end-to-end energy solutions across parts of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
