Mimikay Political Movement Commends Hon. Matthew Omonode for Exemplary Leadership
UGHELLI — The Mimikay Political Movement has commended Hon. Matthew Onojighofia Omonode for his outstanding display of transparency, accountability, and purposeful leadership in presenting a comprehensive account of his stewardship to the people of Ughelli North Constituency I.
The movement noted that at a time when many public office holders shy away from providing detailed reports, Hon. Omonode has stood out as a leader who is open, responsible, and committed to the welfare of his constituents. His achievements, which include creating employment opportunities, supporting over 1,000 students in education, empowering market women and youths, and advocating for critical infrastructural projects, reflect both his competence and compassion.
Among his notable accomplishments are the restoration of electricity in Agbarha-Otor, the push for essential road projects, and ongoing initiatives in education and healthcare. According to Mimikay, these interventions exemplify the kind of representation the people deserve.
The movement also emphasized the importance of expanding ward-to-ward projects to ensure development reaches every community within the constituency. In addition, it called on political leaders across Delta State’s 25 Local Government Areas to embrace a culture of accountability and people-centered leadership.
