The Wife of the Governor of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, has urged Deltans to continue to support Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori with prayers, stressing that prayer remains vital to effective leadership and sustainable development.
Speaking during activities marking her birthday, Deaconess Oborevwori said that the achievements of the current administration should not be viewed only from what is visible, noting that God is working behind the scenes through the Governor to bring progress to the state.
She referenced Proverbs 29:2, which states that when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, adding that the peace and progress being witnessed in Delta State reflect God’s grace upon the Governor’s leadership.
The Governor’s wife described her husband, whom she fondly referred to as her “Oyibo husband,” as a man of admirable character, beautiful and handsome both inwardly and outwardly, and deeply committed to serving the people with sincerity and integrity.
She called on the people of the state to continually pray for the Governor, noting that leadership requires divine wisdom, strength, and guidance. According to her, Governor Oborevwori needs sustained prayers to do more in line with his MORE Agenda and to excel in delivering good governance to the people of Delta State.
Deaconess Oborevwori expressed confidence that with the support and prayers of Deltans, the Governor would continue to achieve greater successes in advancing development and improving the welfare of citizens across the state.
